Bridges is the 3-storey Bridges building owned by the church in the centre of Kirriemuir. In March 2011 Bridges Coffee House opened and is run by the charity Capstone Projects. 100% of its profits support various projects in Uganda including a children’s home, a health centre, a micro-financing venture and a coffee-growing project. This work is overseen in Uganda by Lugazi Pentecostal Church which is found some 30 miles east of the capital, Kampala. Strathmore CF has worked closely with the charity over many years and several people from SCF have been out to Uganda as a result.
The two senior pastors who oversee the work at Lugazi Pentecostal Church will be with us for a week in May together with their wives – Pastor Tom & Edith Wanyama and Pastor Sam & Gorette Okadi.
